I love surprises and flowers. I love going to the theatre. I love old disney films. I love walking by the sea holding someone’s hand. I love big grizzly-bear hugs and passionate kisses. I love gold class and mrtini-glasses full of m&ms. I love having somebody’s hand to hold on to. I love being in love with my best friend. I love watching inbetweeners and misfits. I ADORE Monty Python. I love summer days and summer nights. I love building bonfires on the beach at midnight and cuddling up with my friends in the sand. I love those 1am baths in the cold pool and the warm towel as I come out. I love the cold side of the pillow and hot showers, Japanese hot springs with snow outside. I love thawing my feet on a Minakami radiator after skiing, and hot Japanese curry in the warmth. I love laughing and joking with my friends, and getting to know new people. I love that perfect photo shot and admiring it afterwards. I love to be good at things. I love being free and laughing simply for joy. I love to be able to fall asleep listening to Bob Marley and feel safe from the world under my covers. I love the feeling when I help somebody and they thank me. I love to be the centre of attention. I love those 3 seconds before I step out on stage of pure adrenaline rush, and making people laugh, and bowing at the end of a show thinking that I’d done it! I love to daydream, and fantasize. I love to write poems, and stories and believe they are good for a while. I love to look at old photos and grimace at how I looked. I love to tease my brother about how he looked. I love sunsets. I love being bare foot, especially in the sand. I love running from the umbrella on the beach to the water because it is too hot, and then letting the cool seawater run over my toes to cool them down. I love to explore. I love my nan’s caffe’ latte with oro saiwa in the morning, and her lemon tea in the afternoon. I love her gnocchi and polpettone and cotoletta alla Milanese. I love sitting on the edge of the pavement while eating panzerotti with my mum. I love walking into a church or temple and feeling the spirituality people give the place. I love carpet under my feet. I love to lie on my back on marble when it is hot outside. I love it when something I do in art turns out well and when I solve something in maths. I love to be able to speak two languages. I love the smell of fresh bread every morning when I go with my nan to get it at the bakery round the corner. I love the smell when mamma and dadai back bread at home and I’ve just come back from school. I love to be able to sing along to my favourite songs and know all the words. I love to feel proud. I love watching the Mighty Boosh with people who laugh just as much as I do. I love to wear something strange and have people compliment me. I love to dance. I love to be kissed. I love to be hugged. I love to be danced with. I love to talk about things I know and learn those that I don’t. I love games. I love curling up in a comfy armchair and reading a book I can’t put down. I like knowing all the words of Pirates of The Caribbean Curse Of The Black Pearl. I like watching films I haven’t seen in a long time and finding I still remember the tunes of the songs. I love to find old things that I had forgotten about. I love to make characters out of people I know. I love to plan stories in my head even though I might not write them. I like to have clean, beautiful, empty notebooks, just in case I want to write something. I love biting into a perfect- temperatured Lindt red-wrapper round chocolate so that the outside is hard but the inside is creamy and spreads around in my mouth. I love drinking good milk. I love the sun. I love the colourful leaves in autumn. I love the blossoms and bees in spring. I love those moments when I am floating in a sea fringed with palm trees and fine white sand and I make that moment last forever. I love snowy winters. I love foxes running through the garden in the cold morning and squirrels chasing each other up a tree while my dad mows the lawn. I love swinging on swings that don’t hurt, and jumping off when it reaches the top of the arc. I love being able to do things that others can’t. I love it when I do my makeup just right, and even more when I don’t need to put makeup on at all. I love Christmas eve because we are all together and everybody is happy. I love how I used to love Christmas morning because I would get presents, and now I love it because I give presents to those who I love. I love being right. I love to do things spontaneously and should probably do more of them. I love making up outrageous ideas and people going with them just for the hell of it. I love water fights. I love underwater pictures and handstands in the water. I love holding baby white tigers. I love it when my cousin asks me to sit next to her and then cuddles me. I love it when my brother needs my help – although that doesn’t happen much anymore. I love people not fighting. I love people being happy. I love people smiling. I love people sat in a circle on the beach at 2am with the moon above the ocean. I love the clouds I see from the ground and even more those I see from the plane. I love photographing seagulls in Sydney. I love laughing so hard my tummy hurts. I love people working together. I love playing cards. I love letting other people win and them thinking they had done it. I love knowing something somebody else doesn’t. I love making people happy. I love Barbados, especially body boarding on crane beach. I love cliffs. I love our house when we were in Ayala Alabang. I love writing to old friends. I love switching on the radio and finding that they are playing my favourite song, and feeling that it is just for me. I love it when people are in love because you can see the happiness in their eyes. I love being in love, although it scares me sometimes. I love it when my dad buys presents for my mum that she really likes. I love being able to save up money so that I can buy a really good camera and presents fro my friends. I love keeping promises. I love feeling useful. I love feeling loved. I love it when my uncle and my nan try to speak English with their funny accent. I love it when my dad does silly faces on skype. I love it when I buy a new outfit. I love it when I buy new shoes which I wear the next day. I love it when I dig holes in the sand, and make sand castles, even though everybody thinks its babyish. I love doing childish stuff, and getting teased by the people who then join in finding it is very fun too. I love eating strawberries and cream. I love chocolate cake and pingui’. I love having paint on my nose. I love to pretend I know what people are talking about and them not realizing it. I love not caring how I look. I love people getting to know me before they judge me. I love the sound of the sea. I love the sounds of fountains in Rome. I love Italy after lunch when everybody sleeps and it is quiet. I love the Football World Cup when Italy is in the finals and I can hear the TV from every apartment in the street, and the cries of ‘GOAL’ from everybody at the same time, even if I don’t know them. I love Italy winning the world cup because of the flags and the people singing the national anthems and football songs in the streets, and the fireworks and drums and people climbing on trams and taking over the roads. I love it how the police try to keep it under control and end up joining in. I love it when things work. I love things and people that are different. I love England winning the rugby. I love Easter eggs and Easter bunnies. I love photoshop. I love working out how things work. I love being organized even though it doesn’t happen very often. I love making plans even though I might not follow them through. I love old school rock. I like to meet old friends and be able to talk to them as if they were never away. I love blu-tack. I love getting comments on Facebook. I love listening to Jason Mraz. I love watching funny videos on youtube. I love showing others funny videos on youtube. I love getting long emails from friends. I love flowers and the colour bright pink on black. I love warm lights. I love remembering my dreams and taking control of them. I love my computer. I love my Baya. I love hosting things when they go well. I love Bob Dylan’s lyrics. I love going to the cinema with my friends. I love 3D films. I love reggae. I love listening to Bob Marley. I love people crying for joy. I love it when babies laugh. I love to look at the stars next to someone I love. I love to be told stories by my dad. I love it when people are honest.
